Pat O'Connor was a highly respected technical wrestler who competed for Capitol Wrestling and the WWF across multiple decades. He famously defended the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in high-profile matches against legends like Bruno Sammartino and Buddy Rogers. In 1987, he made a special appearance for the WWF to compete in a featured Legends Battle Royal. He was posthumously honored for his contributions to the industry as a Legacy inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.
