Biography

Jackie Fargo was a legendary figure in professional wrestling, best known for his charismatic "Fargo Strut" and his immense popularity in the Memphis territory. In the late 1950s, he competed for the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the precursor to the WWWF, where he became a major star alongside his "brother" Donnie Fargo. Together, they held the NWA United States Tag Team Championship (Northeast version) on multiple occasions, headlining major events at Madison Square Garden. His flamboyant style and innovative showmanship significantly influenced future generations of wrestlers, including Jerry "The King" Lawler and Ric Flair.
