Biography

Ed "Strangler" Lewis was a four-time World Heavyweight Champion and a true icon of the pioneer era. A master of the sleeper hold (which earned him his nickname), he was part of the "Gold Dust Trio" that transformed wrestling into a choreographed spectacle with high production values. He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.
