Biography

Buddy Rogers was the inaugural WWWF World Heavyweight Champion, officially recognized in April 1963 after the promotion seceded from the NWA. Known as the original "Nature Boy," his flamboyant persona and technical mastery made him one of the most influential stars of the television era. Beyond his historic title reign, Rogers was a two-time NWA United States Tag Team Champion and later returned to the WWF in the early 1980s as a manager and host of "Rogers' Corner." He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 1994, solidifying his legacy as a foundational figure in sports entertainment.
