Brown Panther was a prominent midget wrestler who competed during the golden age of the division in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a frequent performer for the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), the precursor to modern-day WWE. Throughout his career, he also appeared in major territories such as Stampede Wrestling and MWE, often competing under various aliases including Haile Selassie.
