Biography

Arnold "The Golden Boy" Skaaland was a foundational figure in the WWWF both as a performer and a long-time shareholder in Capitol Wrestling Corporation. He is best remembered as the legendary manager of multi-year World Heavyweight Champions Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund. Beyond his managerial success, he held the WWWF United States Tag Team Championship and served as a trusted road agent for the McMahon family for decades. Skaaland was rightfully inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame in 1994.
