Biography

Ace Freeman was a prominent competitor and promoter in the Pennsylvania territory during the mid-20th century. He competed in several matches for the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the precursor to the WWWF, during the late 1940s and 1950s. Known for his technical skill, he is perhaps best remembered for training the legendary Bruno Sammartino. Following his in-ring career, he remained influential in the industry as a promoter in the Pittsburgh area.
